The Churches Conservation Trust is holding an annual service at St Andrews Church, all are welcome to attend the service or to visit this recently restored Mafnificent Regency Church.
The service is an ordinary Parish Mass (duration less than an hour) conducted by Canon Alan Sharp of St Patrick`s, the parish in which St Andrew's Church now sits. It commemorates the feast-day of St Andrew which falls on 30th November. There is no heating in the church, so wrap up!
The Churches Conservation Trust is the public body charged with the care of redundant churches that are no longer required by the Church of England, but which are of such historic or architectural importance that should be preserved for the benefit of the nation. |
